Teaching Fellow at Imperial College London, teaching Python and R in the Business School and Research Computing and Data Science in the Graduate School. I take an interactive approach to teaching programming which is primarily hands-on and am always interested in improving the experience for the learner.I am also a Research Fellow with the Centre for Parallel Computing, at the University of Westminster, where I work on a number of European projects in cloud orchestration and cloud security. My current research interests include container and cloud security, orchestration in cloud, fog and edge environments and cloud-agnostic approaches to describing complex microservices architectures.For ten years prior to getting my start in academia, I pursued top management positions with a variety of popular restaurant, bar and hotel venues. My hospitality career took me from Canada to Australia, London and Berlin, and saw me successfully manage large teams to grow multi-million dollar businesses.
