About Jay Garside

I come from a long line of entrepreneurs, so that itch is in my blood. Growing up with dyslexia taught me early on that I'd have to work harder and think differently to succeed - and that's become one of my biggest strengths. I've leaned into it. It's made me scrappy, resilient, and someone who thrives under pressure. I spent years leading go-to-market efforts at multiple high-growth B2B SaaS companies, earning President's Club recognition and helping scale teams and revenue. I loved the fast pace and the challenge of breaking into new markets, meeting new people and bringing on new customers, but what I loved most was the relationships - understanding what investors, customers, founders, and partners actually cared about and connecting those dots. That's what drew me to investor relations on both the deal origination and capital formation side. It's the same skills I honed in GTM - building trust, creating opportunities, opening doors; just applied differently. Since making this pivot, I've sourced a number of deals through getting in with brilliant founders, raised millions in capital commitments, built a network of entrepreneurs, family offices, MFO's and accomplished individuals who trust me, and orchestrated co-investments that improved our terms in follow-on rounds. What I bring to the table is: hustle, authenticity, and a genuine commitment to the relationships that matter. Regardless of who I'm working with or speaking to, my goal is always the same - deliver value, build trust, and help everyone win. For me, business is never about one-sided gain - it’s about reciprocity, relationships, and shared momentum. I was raised off that principle. And being consistent with that to open doors and create opportunities for ALL. Regardless of your industry, business isn’t about taking nor is it ever about YOU; it’s about giving, sharing, and building something bigger than yourself. The amount of satisfaction I get connecting folks that turn into partnerships, opportunities, or even lifelong friendships is one of my favorite things about my work.
