About Jay Gershman

Jay Gershman: MBA, AIF, RLP “My mission is helping others to better understand their financial situation, motivating them to accomplish their goals, and inspiring them to spend their wealth and ultimately provide a legacy for future generations.” Jay L. Gershman specializes in retirement and life planning for individuals, as well as advice and implementation of 401(k) and profit sharing plans for businesses. Jay implements unbiased plans based upon the varied needs of a diverse clientele. In 2006, Jay attained the certification of Accredited Investment Fiduciary, AIF, from the Center for Fiduciary Studies. In 2007, Jay formed Retirement Visions LLC, a retirement planning firm. In 2012, he completed a three year course through the Kinder Institute and received his Registered Life Planner, RLP, designation. Jay has served his fellow financial planners as President of both the Hartford Council and the 700-member State of Connecticut Financial Planning Association boards as well as on national committees. He is the past President of the board of directors of Solomon Schechter Day School. When he is not working, Jay enjoys golfing with friends and clients, maintaining his properties, and spending time with his wife Nancy and their two beautiful Daughters.
