About Jay Gopaul

Jay is an IT Professional / S.Eng with nearly 17 years of experience (Engineering - Managerial) in Telecommunications and Technology Services Industries with a roadmap embarking as Asst IT Administrator in 2008, followed by IT Officer, Asst IT Manager, IS Director, and currently Cloud Infrastructure & Operations at Dayforce! He has built his career in a variety of roles and industries, mostly in highly reputed companies. His greatest challenge initiated when he was solely in-charge of the pre-opening and opening of the three resorts (5*+, 5*, 4*), had hands in managing Projects and Policies, maintaining IS and IT Goals, monitoring the whole IT Systems Infrastructures, Servers (Windows | Linux | iOS), Server Management, Network Topologies. He has provided support as per request from various constituencies. He has led and planned IT infrastructures, software product deployments, strategic operations in line with UK Law, protocols and standards. He possesses an architectural and leadership skills, as well as an honest and conscientious approach to the job, and a flexible attitude. On a personal level he is methodical, accurate and adaptable, all traits which allow him to embrace change and effectively adjust to new or altered processes within a business environment.
