About Jay Hoffman

I am honored and privileged to work in animal agriculture. Growing up on a dairy farm in central Wisconsin gave me many opportunities to grow in my knowledge of Dairy Cows and managing people. There is not a better group of people that challenge each of us to do great things promoting excellent animal care and a strong progressive mind set. My experience working in the Dairy Industry started as a field supervisor for DHIA, Route sales for Surge, AI arm technician and now Dairy Nutrition for 26 years. This trip around the cow has helped me complete my resume over the past 40 years. Gleaning information from top producers, being open to change, and building strong teams has kept me in tune with the goals and achievements of clients and mentees. I am thankful to bring this background to a excellent team at Nutrition Service utilizing my skills as Nutritionist and Location Manager at our Sherwood Location. My previous experience as Feed Department Manager at Larsen Cooperative helped equip me for this current journey! We have a very good team of people at Nutrition Service and working hands on with our crew at Sherwood location is great!
