About Jay Hudson

I’m the Director of Sales, Retail at Hapn, where I lead the go-to-market strategy and sales execution for our retail business segment—helping national brands combat financial losses and strengthen operations with GPS-enabled asset recovery technology and software. Over the past 15 years, I’ve grown from a top individual contributor into a sales and strategy leader trusted to design GTM plans that scale and deliver measurable results. My background spans SaaS, enterprise technology, and fleet management, and includes co-founding and scaling an edtech startup where I built the go-to-market strategy from the ground up—partnering with investors, customers, and product teams to move from vision to traction. That entrepreneurial experience sharpened my ability to spot opportunities, adapt quickly, and build repeatable growth systems, skills I bring into every stage of leading teams and shaping new markets. Outside of work, I’m a husband and father, and I serve as a catechist at Saint Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church in Austin. I’m also deeply passionate about public service and believe leadership—whether in business, family, or community—should reflect values like integrity, accountability, and service to others. As a proud Notre Dame alum and lifelong fan, I carry forward the conviction that our work should connect to a greater purpose and the common good.
