He received numerous accolades, including an 'A*' rating for overall operational effectiveness during his final four years of service. Jay was also nominated & recommended for the prestigious 'Tony Tyrwhitt-Bettridge Award' for his 'Outstanding Contribution to the Royal Navy.'Transitioning from military to civilian life, Jay became the first musician to participate in the 'Royal Navy Role Model Scheme.' Since then, he has worn many hats, from singer-songwriter & broadcaster to creative director & music manager.His career journey includes major record label success, collaborating with renowned artists such as Booker T, John Legend, & The Jonas Brothers.
