About Jay Jones

Leveraging a broad marketing background, I entered hospital administration responsible for marketing and public relations in acute care and post-acute care facilities. Corporations included HCA, NME, Tenet, and HealthSouth. In 1996 I started a not-for-profit association management group that specialized in healthcare. Our goal was to provide all aspects of management services for outpatient physical therapists, including business operations, marketing, communications, and compliance with Medicare, HIPAA, Workers' Compensation Rules and Regulations. and other topics including marketing and customer service. I was responsible for the development and implementation of an office manager certification course offered currently by the American Physical Therapy Association. As a result of the depth of experience, I have also been a national speaker and author on an array of healthcare topics and continue that today. I am currently Community Educator with Right at Home, providing continuing education units by developing content and direct presentation. We have a library of over 90 separate topics, including Ethics, Cultural Diversity, Dementia and others of interest to Social Workers, Nurses and allied health professionals.
