If you are working into higher education or related to international student recruitment or by any capacity touching lives of international students we could spark into an interesting conversation or chat longer than usual. I find myself highly fortunate to be able to serve in shaping and implementing student recruitment lifecycle for hundreds of international students (mostly from India and other South-Asian countries) right from the critical stage of choosing right program offered by the University/College which I represented with the capacity of international student recruitment manager/senior manager/ team leader. These roles are widely known as University/College representative. In the initial stage of the career I loved to win but later helping a team win gave me greater joy. After pursuing master’s degree in international marketing from Europe (France) I also worked as an intern with NAE (Nissan’s European headquarters) where employees came from over 160 countries (during 2019). Alongside I was lucky to be a batch-leader during master’s degree and had taken up a part-time role in organizing international students meet-up events in Paris which itself is a very international city enhanced my leadership qualities and made me look this world with an eye of a responsible and a global citizen. Yes not to forget I picked a little bit of the local language – French. Also I have attended a few Chinese language classes to be able to introduce myself in that language – beginner level. I am soft spoken confident out-going presentable helping balanced adventurous self-motivator meditation practitioner cricket lover Bollywood follower traveler lifetime-learner and open to meet new people on Linkedin and outside.
