Hi someone who started in the hospitality industry but found a strong interest in finance and capital markets along the way. With a background in Hotel Management and hands-on experience in client-facing roles I’ve developed solid communication and people skills. Over the past year I’ve had the chance to work with financial firms where I gained exposure to trading in forex equities and commodities. Recently I completed a certification in Financial Modeling and Valuation from The Wall Street School. It gave me practical experience in building financial models valuing companies using DCF and other methods and running scenario analysis in Excel.
