About Jay Mangano

I am very proud to be the owner and founder of Devrite Homes of Distinction, a company I established in 2003, after a decade of being a property developer. Being driven by passion, I decided to start my own building company. After spending the early part of my working life in a diverse range of roles, which include working on the family farm, working behind a bar, operating heavy mining equipment, drilling and blasting in a diamond mine, through to personal development studies in business and accounting, acquiring a Diploma of Building and Construction and sitting before the board to become a Registered Builder in my own right. I believe my earlier experiences has led me to develop a very different and hands on approach to running a business, I understand and relate to the positive effect of working in an environment that aims to get the best from people, I am also one who wouldn’t expect anyone to do something which I would not do myself. I have built my company from the ground up, hand selecting all of my trades, with the view of entering into long term relationships with like minded people who share my values. This is the secret to consistently producing quality work, with some of my trade being with me for nearly twenty years.
