About Jay Marsh

With over 25 years of experience in engineering and product design, I have a passion for developing innovative and cutting-edge solutions for near to eye display systems. My mission is to enable users to see both distant and near display images simultaneously without compromising their vision or comfort. I am currently the Senior VP Engineering at Innovega Inc, a company that develops advanced contact lens technology based on patented optical designs.As the Senior VP Engineering, I lead the R&D activities in San Diego for all contact lens and eyewear solutions required to demonstrate our technology and develop business relationships with investors and collaborators. I work with a highly skilled and experienced team of polymer chemists, optical engineers, optometrists and lens designers, and entrepreneurial leaders. I leverage my skills in engineering analysis, design engineering, and product design to create prototypes, test models, and validate performance. I also collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer needs and industry standards. I am proud to be part of a team that is revolutionizing the field of near to eye display systems and creating a new paradigm for immersive and augmented reality.
