Main Responsibilities: • Liaise with the maintenance department and develop a programme of work for the following two weeks • The development of the CMMS to operate effectively and efficiently to achieve the business objectives • Assist in the allocation and prioritisation of planned work for all maintenance disciplines • Assist with the Fuel Handling planning and attend the weekly fuel handling logistics meeting in the absence of the second planner • Assist in planning for unit unplanned and planned overhauls / outages within the business and/or group. • Assist in optimising maintenance planning and resource scheduling activities within all maintenance departments. • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance department key performance indicators • Produce the weekly maintenance review report • Pareto charts • Optimise contractor usage and reduce contractor costs through improved planning of services. • Assist in planning for major and minor statutory and planned outages. • Assist in the review of defects reporting and prioritisation with maintenance engineers. • Assist in compliance with and monitoring or process safety requirements. Principal Accountabilities: Leadership and Management • Lead the maintenance defect and missed work review meeting. • Lead the unplanned and planned outage planning, produce detailed P6 programmes. • Identify missed work & re-schedule, working with the engineers. • The development and measurement of maintenance KPI’s. • Assist in maintaining high levels of positive engagement amongst maintenance team, demonstrating the importance and effectiveness of communication. • Assist in continuously developing and improving the Asset Management Programme. • Operate within departmental budget continuously implement cost saving initiatives to reduce expenditure. • Actively communicated with other station departments and external personnel building trust and develop constructive working relationships. • Be the delegated authority to the maintenance manager. Health, Safety & Environment • Participate in all relevant HSE and CDM meetings. • Participate Process Safety meetings. • Maintain high levels of safety performance within the mechanical plant and equipment. • Ensure appropriate policies, systems and processes are followed during the maintenance activities. • Lead and demonstrate personal commitment to behavioural safety through own actions and attention. • Report any non-compliances.
