Prior to my current position as CRO at Cooler Logistics I was the Director of an 80 person Commercial Team for CH Robinson. In this role I had experience tailoring multi-modal solutions for our customers including TL, LTL, Intermodal, Ocean, Air, and Managed Transportation Solutions. With full P&L accountability, I was responsible for all budgeting and development of core sales personnel, account management, and helped facilitate the operational process associated with creating a successful and efficient business unit. My 32-year tenure began at American Backhaulers when I graduated from college and the company had just 30 employees. In American Backhaulers sold to CHR, which has now grown to a $28 billion company with more than global employees. Over the past ten + years, I grew gross revenues by 129%, net revenue by 97%, volume by 54%, FTEs by 104% while also improving productivity and efficiency metrics by 28%. I achieved a top 10 P&L within CHR as the office driver, developer, and forward-thinking visionary by understanding the evolving needs of a developing office, diversifying customer accounts, providing consistent diplomatic, open-minded leadership, and delivering exceptional client service. A leader and participant of multiple leadership committees, I supported and led a company-wide strategic sales process that grew sales volume, reduced the time it takes to reach decision-makers, and conveyed a transparent, compliant, and data-driven solution. I also participated on the Branch Oversight & Operations Committee, where we helped establish risk mitigation protocols through education and certification to handle high-value products in collaboration with our IT department. As a member of the Go-to-Market team, I help ensure the full scope of CHR services are being sold by aligning resources, driving accountability, equipping sales teams, and strengthening sales force capabilities. An avid athlete, I have participated in multiple triathlons and marathons, including the Madison Ironman. I also raise funds for the Chron's and Colitis Foundation through racing and fundraising events.
