PBM account management/consultant/sales professional with over 2 decades experience, helping plan sponsors achieve their goals with respect to their benefit programs. This begins by building relationships with clients, and developing an accurate understanding of their true goals for their plan. In most cases, plan sponsors want pharmacy programs that provide members with excellent service, and positive outcomes at the lowest possible cost. Achieving the best, possible results comes from balancing these goals in the most effective manner possible, which is something I've helped hundreds of plan sponsors achieve. I am very passionate about helping clients understand effective pharmacy benefit management. Very few organizations today provide real world solutions to their clients to help them effectively manage Rx costs. Usually, this is due to the fact that most PBM's and consultants have business models that are not aligned with the interests of their clients. I firmly believe that there is an enormous demand in this market for solutions that really work, as opposed to the never ending flow of the same, old, tired strategies that are designed to drive up revenue for the PBM and/or consultant. Also, there is a demand for solutions that improve member health outcomes, and that drive member satisfaction with their Rx plan. Effective cost management is always a top priority, but it is critical that consultants understand and appreciate all of the plan sponsor's goals, and not focus solely on cost savings at the expense of the other objectives.
