As a Senior Global IT Asset and Configuration (CMDB) Director and Sr. Business Analyst, I establish/lead IT asset management (ITSM) and CMDB functions with responsibility for software/hardware in large, highly regulated, industry leaders in finance/FinTech, healthcare, manufacturing, and IT, software, and hardware sectors. During the past 12 years, I've been tapped to create IT asset/CMDB departments during pivotal times to mitigate risk and financial liability while ensuring compliance – including for E*TRADE, Morgan Stanley, and Wellstar Healthcare System. A highly-analytical business leader across ITSM and configuration mgmt, I bring expertise in asset/inventory auditing, tracking, reconciliation, decommissioning, renewals, vendor contracts, attestation and compliance, with emphasis on risk mgmt, cybersecurity, data integrity and lifecycle cost management. In building IT Asset/CMDB departments, I partner with executives to develop strategy aligned to the organizations and work closely with cross-functional teams in creating processes/procedures, driving continuous improvements, and gaining buy-in through an influential, diplomatic leadership style. Notable Highlights: • Established/lead Global IT Asset Mgmt. for Watts Water Technologies. Stood up/led large-scale IT Asset Mgmt. function with full accountability for software and hardware at E*TRADE, enhanced CMDB function, business analysis, and was selected to lead the ITSM integration/stay on after E*TRADE’s Morgan Stanley acquisition. • Created Wellstar's IT Asset Management & Configuration Management (CMDB) function, navigating complex integration of Wellstar’s 11 hospitals' M & As, leading business analysis. • Established software vendor audit response strategy including negotiations with largest IT Industry vendors. Manage all activities re: license compliance audits for largest contracts; respond to auditor requests and present to Executives and Risk & Audit Committee. • Implemented asset discovery technologies and data sets integration including BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Big Fix, SCCM, and JAMF and Flexera for all E*TRADE. At Wellstar, deployed asset management and CMDB in ServiceNow (6 mos.) – tracking > 1.1 million assets. • Performed audits for all of Morgan Stanley, globally, on software vendor portfolios. • Build IT Asset & CMDB functions ground up – hiring/training diverse employees, on/offshore with an empowering leadership style.
