About Jay Pasrija

As a Co-op student with over 5 internships of experience, I thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. My technical background combined with my interest in business has enabled me to approach problem-solving from a holistic perspective. I am passionate about leveraging my skills in software engineering to drive business value and help organizations achieve their goals. I am always seeking new challenges and my lifetime goal tagline is "To make sure I am learning, growing, and evolving; both personally and professionally!" During my internships, I worked on various projects where I learned how to manage resources, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and deliver projects on time and within budget. My proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and Rust, coupled with my experience working with databases, software applications, and cloud platforms, has enabled me to deliver high-quality software products that meet customer requirements. Other than Software and IT departments, I also gained experience in agile project management methodologies, process improvement, cost controls, and risk management. As a software engineering student with a passion for the business side of the company, I have developed a unique perspective on how technology can drive business success. My experience working as a software co-op student in the Project Management team and Information Technology co-op in the Business Technology team has allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of how technology can be used to solve business problems and drive innovation, while also developing expertise in stakeholder engagement and management.
