About Jay Pery

Hi there,I'm an experienced sales professional and sales team leader, with over 3 years experience in outbound cold sales and account management. In 2022, I was fortunate enough to pursue my passion for leadership at Scout Talent Group, and led a team of sales professionals for over 18 months, where I was responsible for personnel hiring, sales performance coaching, success planning, and team revenue forecasting, all while maintaining personal sales targets. Although my recent experience has been in technology sales, you might be surprised to learn that I am a graduate of Queensland University of Technology in the field of Mechanical Engineering. During my time as a Project Engineer with Downer Group, I was exposed to the minutia of the project lifecycle, and have learnt how customer demands can be facilitated from both a logistical and contractual perspective. Within this role, I had the opportunity to coordinate teams of engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, community stakeholders, environmental stakeholders and legal teams to ensure that the deliverables of my projects were met.In addition to my time at QUT, I took the opportunity to complete a 12-month exchange at Arizona State University, where I continued my studies and competed as a high-level international gymnast. I have a great passion for gymnastics, a sport in which I completed a number of volunteer duties after having been an athlete for over 15 years.
