About Jay Raymond

I have held a lifelong passion for aviation & I dedicate a considerable amount of my waking (and sleeping!) hours to learning how to become a more proficient & safer Pilot. There is no greater privilege than to fly an aircraft, and there's no pursuit more futile than to master it completely.My goal is to fly professionally in corporate/commercial aviation whilst developing my 'Stick & Rudder' skills with the addition of an aerobatic rating.For now, I am working on completing the first, and most important of the licenses & ratings required, the PPL(A)I own and operate - A free resource for student pilots looking for simple METAR data for all major airports worldwide. In previous professional experience, I have co-founded a profitable pre-owned luxury watch retail business that had a turnover of just under £1m in its' second year. Before that, I was the division manager (Air) of a large compliance company covering nationwide contracts with clients from small independent businesses to extensive NHS & Government sites exceeding £1m under my direct management.
