About Jay Redington
I started working with glass full time 35 years ago,making 17th and 18th century reproduction blown functional glassware such as bowls, pitchers, mugs, tumblers, ect. I became fascinated with late 17th and early 20th century lighting. Currently I am producing a line of art nouveau & arts and crafts, glass lighting products that are blown, pressed, cast, and rolled by hand. Some of these are then used by other artists for their own creative process. Some of these can be seen at: Aside from a line of blown lampshades, pressed tiles and jewels, hand rolled sheet glass, we also are focused on replacing broken or missing glass for antique pieces and historic buildings. These recently have included "The Belasco Theatre" in New York City,"The Robie House" in Chicago, Il,"The Historic Park Inn Hotel and City National Bank" in Mason City, Ia, and the "Darwin Martin House Complex" in Buffalo, Ny.
