About Jay Richter

Jay has been active since 2001 representing Buyers, Sellers, Tenants and Landlords in Northern California. Jay's core focus is on sales and leasing of industrial and commercial properties. Additionally, Jay has completed and continues to work on a significant amount of land transactions and has experience selling distressed assets for individuals and financial institutions. Jay is a licensed Broker in the State of California holds the Designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member ("CCIM"). The CCIM Designation in conjunction with holding a Broker's License not only adds value to Jay’s clients, but it sets Jay apart from most other brokers. Jay's experience in selling and leasing commercial properties has led him to represent and complete transactions with clients including PepsiCo, Citibank, GE Hydro Power, FCI Constructors, City of Sacramento, Berg Electric, Eyefinity (VSP), Rexel, Inc, and PODS as part of his resume of clients. In addition to servicing institutional type clients, Jay works closely with local and regional clients in the acquisition and disposition of commercial, industrial and land properties to assist his clients in meeting their real estate goals. Jay's 17+ years of commercial real estate brokerage has led to transactions throughout California spanning from San Diego to the Oregon border. Having been raised in Shasta County and 20+ years in the Greater Sacramento Region has given Jay comprehensive understanding of Northern California. In 2001 Richter began interning as an office broker with Starboard TCN, a large independent commercial real estate brokerage in Downtown San Francisco. Richter now resides in the Sacramento region with his family and continues his focus on the greater Sacramento Valley and Northern California industrial/commercial and land real estate markets.
