Brokerage and Property Management - Founded and served as president of Ferncreek Properties, Inc. leading it to become Central Florida’s largest commercial brokerage and property management firm during the late 1970’s and 1980’s. Development Experience - Developed more than one million square feet of commercial space throughout Central Florida, renovated over square feet and developed four commercial/industrial parks totaling more than 150 acres. Business Services - Cofounded Real Estate Research Consultants (RERC), now a part of GAI Engineering Community Solution Group, which provided both the public and private sector real estate and economic advisory services nationwide. Financial - Served seven years as a director of Firstate Financial, which specialized in acquisition, development and construction financing throughout Florida. Investor - Purchased properties for development and redevelopment and also properties to be leased to prospects wishing to lease certain properties rather than purchasing. Typically purchased and sold one property per year and maintained a portfolio of four to five properties. Designations - Awarded the Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) professional designation.
