Born and raised in Lawrenceville Georgia. From a very healthcare-oriented family. I spent most of my twenties recovering from a physical injury and multiple surgeries. At nineteen years of age I was in an accident that resulted in a traumatic spinal fracture requiring a spinal fusion, which was inevitably followed by three hip surgeries over the next ten years.
