Seasoned energy & tech professional focused at the intersection of IoT and Analytics. Drawn toward solving large transformational problems - currently, the energy transition & demand management. Experienced in all stages of customer journeys, spanning pre-sales, implementation and expansion, as well as managing custom development efforts. Experienced in complex operational structures, including managing subcontractors, working effectively with delivery partners, system integrators, etc. Working remotely, but in a tight-woven team, I combine the best elements of self-motivation & ability to work independently along with a zeal for identifying opportunities to work collaboratively. After many years at software companies, I'm excited to start at CPower, an energy services firm. Since my cutting edge assignments usually push product boundaries, I spend a lot of time defining new features with product managers, and received the first and only "Friend of Product Management" award from AutoGrid's Product Management team. I've spent the last 15+ years in the dynamic cleantech industry. I have helped gas and electric utilities transform around renewables, customer engagement, and energy efficiency, and am now focused on scaling demand side management capabilities through technology & automation. My IoT experience began early, with smart meters, and has continued with distributed energy resources (smart thermostats, batteries, solar, building controls, EV chargers). Prior to my experience with these energy customers, I also have experience with federal government, insurance, and state government. Working in these roles fully leverages my technical skills (data management, business logic, solution design) as well as managerial skills (client/partner management, scheduling/budgeting, presentations, etc). Excelling in both realms enables me to quickly earn respect as a trusted advisor, helping customers and partners see the art of the possible.
