About Jay Stadler

Possessing over a decade of experience leading elite, higher education facilities management teams, providing exemplary service, and garnering mentorship from the industry's best.Carleton College, I was provided with a targeted immersion into a high-functioning, articulate, caring, and experienced group of professionals. Together, over $300M in capital projects, managed in-place facilities assessment programs, developed and enhanced management strategies, engaged professional staff, provided relevant training, supported a positive culture, and a mutually rewarding workplace experience. Today, as a Project Manager, I work closely with the AVP of Facilities Services at Rollins College. We are transforming how the College forecasts capital needs and strategy for sustainable facilities assessments that will provide stewardship pathways for the next decades.Current accountability includes the construction of a new 298-bed residence hall that also houses a café, classroom, our security services offices, and emergency operations center. This exciting project will be ready for students for fall move-in 2026. Project budget $72M.Adjacent but equally critical projects include the exterior waterproofing of our Olin library. This extensive project effectively resets the age of the exterior shell providing for decades of reliable performance. This work, accomplished in an owner-occupied setting, will be completed in mid-June 2025. Project budget $3.2M.Roof replacements, smaller interior remodels, and the initiation of exterior envelope and building systems studies are ongoing as we plan for future priorities. I work hard to develop relationships with campus partners, facilities teams, and service providers. I Inject years of experience in operations, personnel, and emergency management to lend an ear, lend a hand, advise, or simply support others. My mission is to tirelessly give all that I am, as a resource, to prioritize and collaboratively find solutions. My professional goal is to lead a comprehensive facilities management team where I can directly and intimately affect all facets of the organization: facilities management and capital planning.
