About Jay Thomas

I am a hands-on design and creative leader with a wide range of experience in branding, marketing, product UI/UX, customer success, and employee communications. I like to work on challenging problems with a team that moves fast, trusts one another, and focuses on delivering results. I roll up my sleeves and get after my work with a creative perspective and design discipline. With an entrepreneurial mindset, I bring a combination of experience, versatility, curiosity, determination and talent to my team. I can add value in many ways such as brainstorming marketing strategy and messaging, leading a user-centered product design process, creating brand and product assets including graphics, illustrations and digital media, establishing and maintaining design systems and brand standards, bringing innovative ideas to expand the product and services offerings of my organization and more. I care passionately about the details but don't lose sight of the big picture. The ideal environment for me values hard work, collaboration, curiosity, craftsmanship, and humility – with a healthy dose of humor. I love my work, but I also enjoy creating artwork, writing, reading (books and comics), and learning new things. I like to be active, especially running and cycling. My wife, Jennifer, is my best friend and we enjoy traveling, cooking and spending quality time with family, friends and our amazing Border Collies.
