I run Motel Design, a B2B brand and communications agency that help Professional Services firms look and sound as good as they actually are. We deliver branding, digital, and corporate communications with a mix of mid-century design thinking and top-tier client service. No fluff - sharp, highly strategic work that looks great and delivers. I've been in the game for over 20 years, starting out as an editorial designer working on indie and culture magazines in London before moving into brand and design agencies where I worked with global brands like Microsoft, Heineken, and JLL — delivering everything from brand identity and websites to retail environments and corporate reporting. These days, I bring that experience to a much broader mix, from airlines to cybersecurity firms and even the occasional brewery. If it needs a brand, I'm keen to be involved. I love getting into the details of the whole customer journey — how a brand looks, speaks, and behaves across every touchpoint, from business card to website and physical environment. It's all connected, and that's where the real magic happens. Outside of work, I live in Margate together with my four kids. I have an impractical obsession with oversized classic American cars, a love for house music, and a strong preference for good food and craft beer — ideally consumed in the sunshine. Also, I need to get back on a snowboard before I forget how.
