About Jay Wills
Recently graduated my Masters of Applied Science in Civil Engineering program from Carleton University. I got moved online during my degree so you could say it was the culmination of me sitting at home in front of my computer for a couple years coding numerical simulations. It was extremely rewarding seeing the years of effort come together in the form of a finished thesis, which allowed me to contribute back to the field of research which has taught me so much already. My main passions are for engineering design and project delivery, particularly in regards to the geotechnical and structural fields. I have experience designing earth, concrete, steel, wood, and masonry structures. Through my studies I've also come to really enjoy coding. I love working in teams and collaborating with others.
