About Jay Yerama

Having been an Operations Manager at the Cenovus Bruderheim Energy Terminal and Canexus Unit Train facility for the last year, and a Maintenance Planner for 8 years, I have gained significant experience and appreciation for the complexities of operating and maintaining a facility with the responsibilities of ensuring plant safety, efficiency, and silent operation. I enjoy working and interacting with the many teams to successfully plan and complete projects and day to day maintenance. As I am very familiar with operations/maintenance processes to work on continuous improvement and preparing for audits and emergency response. As a Maintenance Planner I have worked diligently to ensure successful planning and execution of multiple plant turnarounds and day to day maintenance. Maintenance reliability was continually optimized by level loading preventative maintenance, and implementing job plan improvements which I would monitor with various leading and lagging KPI’s. I also led a team to create a Maintenance system for the Canexus NATO facility in Bruderheim, Alberta in SAP. This included creating a Functional Location structure, gathering equipment data and developing PM programs, working with Calgary IT Support Teams and Onsite Maintenance Technicians. I am also very fluent in the use of IBM Maximo for maintaining a maintenance system. Training and development of Maintenance Schedulers was also a task I took a lot of pride in. I am also a 3rd Class Power Engineer with many years in the control room and in the field working in various hydrocarbon facilities.
