Jayadev is a self-motivated community development professional with extensive knowledge and a deep passion for social work and providing professional services within the community services sector for many years. Jayadev has extensive experience in project management, humanitarian programs, aged and disability services, case management, advocacy, community organising, program design, monitoring and evaluation, reports and grant writing. He is also fluent in 3 languages other than English. He has broad expertise and experience working collaboratively to build the social capital necessary to strengthen and empower individuals, families and communities from migrant, refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds. The emphasis of his work is to build the trust and rapport necessary to enable individuals and communities to engage with relevant partners, to initiate, design, lead and evaluate community, place based and sustainable projects. Always insisting on working within a human rights framework and implementing a strengths-based approach that enables work to be community driven and led, He work to build collaborative partnerships to expand the services, support, and training available to individuals, families, and communities to strengthen community engagement, economic outcomes and social inclusion to positively impact life outcomes.
