About Jayant Joshi

My experience spread over 37 years. I am a competent Professional & Environment Practitioner with experience in the Oil & Gas industry (on-shore and offshore produced water treatment), power sector, and infrastructure projects. My forte lies in technology development & assimilation, project management, design/ engineering review, quality assurance, and Coordination with engineering teams, vendors/ contractors, and laboratories for a wide variety of clients/industries both in the public & private sectors. I have developed technologies for the spent caustic oxidation Process, VOC control & treatment, and bio-remediation of oily sludge treatment and implemented them in the Industries. I have done corporate sustainability Reporting and Responsible Care & technical business development. At Present, Working on new exciting technologies that can change the course of wastewater/ water treatments. Highlights of professional life: QCI accredited EIA coordinator in the area of Refinery, Thermal power plants, Infrastructure, pipeline, and Terminal and functional area expert Wastewater, Solid waste management, Air Quality Monitoring, and Air quality prediction. Carried out more than 150 reports on Environmental Impact Assessment Designed one of the first DM plants based on Reverse Osmosis and Mixed Bed technology using treated ETP wastewater. Carried out more than 100 projects. Invented and implemented Confined oily sludge bioreactor technology to treat oily sludge in three plants. Developed Spent caustic oxidation Process technology based on catalytic wet air oxidation and implemented in two of the refineries. Developed VOC control technology for the wastewater treatment plant implemented in four plants Led a team to develop a vapor recovery system in the tankage area. Successfully implemented Zero Liquid Discharge system in 4 refineries. Carried out fresh water minimization audit in thirteen Indian refineries to save almost 40% of fresh water. Delivered more than 100 lectures at various forums and carried out training workshops on industry-related problems and core knowledge issues Working on technology selection and shortlisting based on Green Hydrogen. Guide to MTech students in their thesis work for IITs & Impart domain training to different clients. Filed two patents; one in the area of water and wastewater treatment based on magnetic hydrodynamic cavitation and the control of VOC emissions using bio-filtration methods.
