As a Chartered Accountant with expertise in financial reporting, I have a proven track record of ensuring compliance with GAAP Accounting Policies & Standards and local regulatory requirements while efficiently delivering both internal and external financial reports. I have also liaised with tax teams, coordinated with auditors, and responded to ad-hoc requests from stakeholders. In my role as a Financial Reporting specialist, I have provided accurate and timely financial and regulatory reports to the Group and statutory authorities, provided monthly forecasts, and also acted as a Finance SPOC for implementing Insurance Accounting as per IND AS 117 Insurance Contracts during my stint in life Insurance company. My expertise in Assurance & Taxation Matters is exemplified by my experience in handling audit assignments independently for reputed companies, assisting partners in complex audit assignments, preparing financial statements under Indian GAAP, IFRS, and Ind AS for domestic and international clients, and managing and conducting audits under Internal Financial Control for various international MNCs. In terms of Management, I have provided accounting advisory and presented solutions to CFO and finance teams, maintained close interaction within cross-functional teams, and functioned as an escalation point to drive problem resolutions in a timely and proactive manner.
