About Jayanth Siddamsetty
I am a researcher at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), currently engaged in the Mission KI project, funded by the BMDV. At DFKI, the focus is on evaluating the trustworthiness of AI applications and advising SMEs and startups on choosing the right AI tools, integrating AI into their business, and also build trustworthy AI systems. My role bridges regulations and standards with technical testing, and also evaluating Robustness of different AI systems. My interest lies in AI Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, and Ethics. I am familiar with the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, NIST AML (2025). By being PECB certified ISO/IEC 42001 Provisional Implementer, I bring management systems and AI development expertise to help companies establish effective AI Governance, risk, and quality management frameworks I am also involved in drafting the General Purpose AI Codes of Practice, set to come into effect in August, 2025.
