About Jayanthi Shivakumar

I am a Cambridge CELTA graduate who is certified to teach English to adults. Currently, Chief Operating Officer at EnglishCoach Services P. Ltd. I head the training team to design and deliver business communication programs for corporate globally. I manage all project deliveries from the needs collection phase, programme design, client coordination, programme delivery, report compilation, and successful closing of the programme with course completion certificates. The Cambridge CELTA and Indian School of Business certifications give me the expertise to coach professionals to ace their workplace communication and move to leadership roles. I am a lead facilitator for the company's email writing learning intervention for an international banking services company. Other companies for whom I have designed and delivered training interventions include Airtel, Olam International, L&T, Tata Steel, Aurobindo Pharma, Pfizer, Quadrant 4 and other IT solutions providers. As part of the core team, I also engage with clients to understand their training needs and align deliverables accordingly for assessments, online modules and classroom sessions. I started my career with Satyam Computers and later moved on to manage HR functions for my family run business that was in the industrial packaging sector for multinationals. As a freelancer, I trained in communication and soft skills in technical colleges in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. These sessions focused on verbal communication, team building, impression management, and interpersonal skills. Additionally, I have created content for modules on awareness of behaviour skills for a website focusing on these life skills in the professional environment.
