About Jayaprakash Suresh

With over 10 years of experience in the steel industry, I am a skilled and experienced Field Process Operator at Emirates Steel Arkan, one of the leading steel producers in the Middle East. My mission is to ensure the safe, efficient, and optimal operation of the direct reduction (DR) plant and its equipment, following the highest standards of quality and performance. As a Field Process Operator, I monitor and control the process parameters, communicate and coordinate with the control room, supervisors, and other departments, and perform regular inspections, checks, and maintenance of the equipment. I also react promptly to any emergencies, deviations, or malfunctions, and follow the company’s policies and procedures on health, safety, environment, and work permit systems. I have recently begun learning Distributed Control System (DCS) panel operations and am in the early stages of gaining hands-on experience. I am eager to develop my skills in this area, working closely with experienced operators to understand the intricacies of the system and how it can be used to optimize plant performance. I have a strong knowledge of the DR plant processes and equipment, and I am always keen to learn new techniques to enhance my productivity and effectiveness. I am passionate about working in the steel industry and contributing to the success and growth of Emirates Steel Arkan.
