About Jayda Batchelder

My purpose is to spark innovation and inspire connections to fuel progress towards a more just world. I am an entrepreneur and a social sector strategist and executive committed to results-driven solutions that will disrupt society's biggest problems. I’m known as someone who is fiercely inspiring, intellectually curious, and a strategic change agent. I have deep experience building and leading teams, creating innovative solutions, storytelling, and raising philanthropic capital. My work in the social impact sphere has garnered a number of accolades and global connections. In 2012, I was named one of Texas Instruments STEM Teachers of the Year. In 2015, I was named a “40 under 40” honoree by the Dallas Business Journal, in 2016 was selected as Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation Entrepreneur, and in 2017 was invited into the Stand Together Catalyst Network. In 2018, I was selected as a Teach for All Global Social Innovation Fellow. In 2019 was the recipient of the Ann R. Cox Innovation in Education Award. In a commitment to life-long learning and global leadership, I was selected as a Marshal Memorial Fellow with the German Marshal Fund in 2017 and participated in their Transatlantic Leadership Seminar: Education and Workforce Development in Fall of 2019. From 2018-2019 I completed my time in the Leadership Dallas Class of 2019 and I graduated from the Stagen Integral Leadership Program.
