About Jayde Mitchell

I have an array of skill-sets in many different lines of work including filmmaking, makeup artistry, management, retail and hospitality, but ultimately I’m seeking something that will fuel my passion for the arts. I have excellent organisational and management abilities that I feel are being wasted in retail. I would love to be a part of the filmmaking action, and help construct a smooth running operation that is both creatively freeing and fun. I have so much experience in acting for film, makeup for film and television, hair styling, prosthetics, and general on set etiquette. This is shown in my Diploma of Screen and Media, and my Diploma of Specialist Makeup Artistry. I’ve been taught by some of the best that Australia has to offer in terms of entry level filmmaking, and I am excited to gain real experience and showcase what I can bring to the table. I have worked in Gold Coasts’ Village Roadshow Studios on larger productions shot in Australia such as Dora the Explorer, Aquaman and Anaconda. I’m a very hard worker and enjoy proving myself to my peers and to myself. This is something I pride myself in.
