About Jaydeep Chakraborty

I am an AI leader with over 19 years of experience in data science, mentorship, and innovation. I have a passion for impacting change through data-led problem solving, building data science solutions, sharing stories from data, and enabling small data science teams to generate value in quick time. I also have an entrepreneurial spirit and a vision of how data science can help organizations make better decisions. Currently, I am a Manager of AI engineering team at Intact, one of the largest and fastest growing Data Labs in Canada. I own the project budget and ensure the successful project implementation within complex technology ecosystem and applications to generate value at scale. I also mentor students from diverse backgrounds and cultures at Toronto School of Management, where I crafted the entire data science diploma program. Previously, I was a Director at Fido Investments, where I led the research and development of trading algorithms using machine learning techniques and technical trading strategies. I have multiple certifications in Big Data, Deep Learning, and Data Science from prestigious institutions. I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new domains in data science.
