Career Highlights • Safely commissioned new desalting projects worth $3M and other projects to process heavy, sour, and heavy salt crude oil in times of extreme competitive market conditions, resulted in Zero Human injuries and an increase over 10% of Unit’s profit [Feb 2016- Aug 2019]. • Successfully executed four crude distillation unit shutdowns (two major and two emergency shutdowns) with zero human injuries and incidents to perform major maintenance activities as well as increase the life of the plant. • Safely, and timely commissioned HVGO Cross-over system worth $2.5M in the vacuum distillation column of the crude distillation unit resulting in an increase of diesel recovery from HAGO to 25%(450m3/hr. diesel generation to 570 m3/hr.), while reducing the cost of diesel recovery from VGO up to 10%. • Produced revenue of more than $100M by leading MOCs of bringing high chloride/minerals & low virgin yield ATB Bitumen from Syncrude to Suncor. • Achieved the highest-ever monthly production of synthetic crude oil for Suncor from my unit which helped Suncor maximize its revenue. • Avoided one furnace pigging by doing daily furnace temperature surveys and reducing tube skin temp above 1300F on Coker furnaces and saved $9Million for the organization.
