I am a passionate and driven Senior biomedical engineering major with a strong interest in medical microdevices and rehabilitation engineering. My journey in biomedical engineering has been fueled by a desire to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and patient care, ensuring that innovative solutions are both impactful and accessible. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is the opportunity to interact with patients and understand their needs firsthand. This patient-centered approach has shaped my perspective on engineering, reminding me that behind every device or technology is a person whose life we aim to improve. I was fortunate to expand this perspective during a research experience with the NHS in Scotland, where I gained valuable insights into healthcare systems, patient advocacy, and the importance of designing solutions that are both effective and equitable. I am particularly fascinated by the potential of medical microdevices to revolutionize diagnostics and treatment. I am constantly seeking to learn about emerging biomedical technologies and their applications, as I believe staying informed is key to driving meaningful innovation. Above all, I value the role of informed and respectful communication in fostering collaboration and progress.
