I’m a passionate and results-oriented software developer with a strong foundation in full-stack development, software testing, automation, and IT support. I recently graduated with distinction from the Computer Programming and Analysis Advanced Diploma program at St. Lawrence College, where I developed technical depth and problem-solving skills across a wide range of programming languages, frameworks, and technologies. In my most recent role as a Software Developer with the Ontario Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement, I contributed to several high-impact projects supporting provincial digital services. My work included designing and developing scalable web applications using Angular, Java Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL, modernizing legacy systems, and ensuring AODA-compliant user interfaces for public-sector accessibility. I led the creation of RESTful APIs, optimized relational database schemas for performance and security, and used Azure DevOps to manage Git repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile workflows. Parallel to my development work, I spent nearly three years as an IT Service Desk Technician at St. Lawrence College, where I provided real-time technical support to students, faculty, and staff. I handled service requests across multiple channels, troubleshot hardware and software issues, mentored junior technicians, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex problems. This role strengthened my ability to communicate technical solutions clearly, prioritize urgent issues, and deliver customer-focused support in a fast-paced environment. Beyond software development, I bring a unique perspective from my background in security and emergency response. I hold a diploma in Protection, Security, and Investigations from Loyalist College, and I’ve previously worked as a Security Guard and Emergency Report Centre Operator at Queen’s University, where I was responsible for monitoring campus safety systems, managing high-pressure incidents, and coordinating emergency responses. Whether I’m collaborating on Agile development teams, optimizing digital workflows, or mentoring peers, I strive to bring curiosity, adaptability, and a solutions-first mindset to everything I do.
