About Jayden Spear

I graduated from the University of Montevallo with my B.S. in Data Analytics (Formerly known as Computer Informatics). While my professional interests do lie in data analysis, programming, etc, I have also found a passion with leadership, communication, and working within a team. I have been working since I graduated from Goshen High School in 2019. I started out as a cashier for Piggly Wiggly in Montgomery, AL. I would be remiss if I were to not touch on how much that job has taught me. I was very shy when I first began working there, and I ultimately had to learn how to talk to customers in this setting, which has been invaluable to me throughout my time in college. I worked during the pandemic as well, which was drastically different than anything most have seen in quite some time. My experiences working through COVID-19 in a grocery store was stressful in many ways, however, it did teach me many life lessons that I think have made me a better person professionally and personally. I worked at Piggly Wiggly for 3 and a 1/2 years and ended my time there in December of 2022 to work closer to Montevallo. I have worked various on-campus jobs while going to classes as well as joining various organizations on campus. Everything I have done on campus has shaped me into the person I am today, and I am very grateful for all the experiences and lessons I've learned throughout my time on the bricks. I'm also very excited to see what the future holds for me while I pursue a career that allows me to not only utilize my degree, but showcase the many characteristics I've cultivated during my time at my future alma mater. I currently work at Hill, Hill, Carter, Franco, Cole, & Black, LLC as a Business Analyst. I work within the Subrogation Team. This career is fulfilling and rewarding. I’m very grateful to work at a fantastic place.
