About Jayden Strand

I’m a senior marketing student graduating in the spring of 2025 at the University of North Dakota. My first two years of school were spent at North Dakota State University, before transferring to UND. At both schools I’ve learned about what I’m passionate about in the marketing industry, which is a mix of digital/social media marketing, specifically brand strategy, as well as advertising. More about me personally, I’m from West Fargo, ND. I’ve recently found a passion in video production through a class I took at UND. I’ve always had an interest in video production and editing, but it wasn’t until I spoke with experts in the marketing field that told me how big video production is and will be that I decided to really dive in and learn the skills that I now appreciate. Aside from that, marketing as a whole is something I’ve had an interest in since high school. As I’ve made my way through college, I’ve learned much more about what marketing really is and how much there is to it. A dream job of mine is to work a marketing job for a major sports team in Minneapolis, due to my fandom and love of sports. I have an internship under my belt as well as technical knowledge from school, and I am looking for another internship or job in the marketing field as I approach graduation in the spring!
