About Jayden Ure

I have demonstrated experienced working within the community services in the Disability and Out of Home Care sector. Previous to joining the community services industry, I worked as an assistant manager and relief manager at a independent grocery chain, supporting a team of 10+ staff. I have experience as a therapeutic youth and disability support worker in community access, court appointed visitations and supported independent living, assisting clients with a range of diverse support needs and backgrounds. My current role is working in partnership with the NDIA as a Local Area Coordinator with Uniting, coordinating approximately 300 participants and their families throughout the many pathways of the NDIS. Another part of my role consists of sitting within the audit team, quality checking plans and providing corrective feedback helping to ensure consistent results. I am a highly motivated individual, with a vast array of skills and knowledge within the industry. I’m continuously seeking to expand my networks and knowledge through the many opportunities within the industry, to help better support those individuals living with a disability. My goal and passion for working in the industry is to help advocate for and educating others about disabilities, working to create a more accepting and inclusive future.
