As a passionate Financial Controller and Leader, I work closely with the CFO, ELT, and Board to provide strategic solutions and business analyses to optimise financial performance and drive organisational success. My leadership style is building high-performing teams through open communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking. I am a conceptual thinker who challenges the status quo, driving significant organisational change through leadership, new technologies, innovation, and continuous improvement. With 16 years of commercial experience and 4 years in public practice specialising in tax, accounting, and business advisory services, I bring a wealth of knowledge across various industries, including Maritime and Transport, Aged Care, Disability and Community Services, Manufacturing, Building and Construction, Local Government, and Government Trading Entities. In my next role, I seek to align my experience with my ongoing Master’s studies in Leadership and Strategy, from which I will earn a Graduate Certificate in December 2024. This advanced qualification from AIM Business School equips me with the leadership skills and strategic perspectives necessary for senior and executive roles. The coursework covers critical areas such as leadership, business decision-making, strategy development, and governance, all of which complement my extensive experience in integrating Finance and People & Culture, giving me a holistic perspective.
