I am a Chief Operating Officer, Director, and Consultant Actuary with extensive leadership experience in the financial services, insurance, and consulting industries. In an executive capacity I have a wealth of experience in actuarial science, financial oversight, and business transformation, combined with a passion for innovation and operational growth. I am currently the Chief Operating Officer and Finance Director at PFS Consulting Pty Ltd. Here, I oversee multi-functional operational teams, finance, and IT, contributing to the organisation’s 150% growth through strategic initiatives and technology integration. I am also the Managing Director at Moksh Consulting Pty Ltd, delivering robust governance frameworks and compliance solutions. Earlier, I was Head of Product Development & Pricing at Liberty Life Limited, spearheading innovative product strategies and Head of Actuarial Valuations and Sanlam Life Limited. With experience across various industries, including life, general and health insurance, banking, superannuation, financial planning and consulting, my focus on innovation, operational efficiency, and strategic growth offers valuable insights into board-level decision-making, risk management, and corporate governance. At board level, I specialise in driving strategic planning, operational efficiency, and risk governance frameworks, ensuring organisations meet and exceed regulatory and market expectations. I achieve this by formulating company strategies, driving business development, and ensuring robust financial and risk management frameworks. Finally, I hold a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Actuarial Science, am a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA), a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA), and have completed the AICD Company Directors Course (GAICD).
