About Jayesh Katade

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Northeastern University, I support the CS1800: Discrete Structures course by grading assignments, leading tutorials, and providing feedback to students. I enjoy applying my knowledge of data science and computer engineering to help students learn and grow in this foundational subject.I am pursuing my Master's degree in Data Science at Northeastern University, with the goal of becoming a data scientist in the sports industry. I have a strong background in Python, machine learning, and statistical analysis, which I have used to complete multiple data-driven projects, such as predicting heart attacks using ECG and clinical data, and developing an IoT-based smart waste management system. I have also published two papers in reputable journals and conferences, showcasing my research skills and domain expertise.I am passionate about sports and eager to use data science to uncover new insights and improve decision making in this field. I have a tenacious work ethic and a collaborative mindset, which I have demonstrated as the Treasurer of the Student Council at MIT World Peace University, where I was responsible for managing the budget, fundraising, and financial reporting. I am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow as a data scientist and a sports enthusiast.
