About Jayesh Matta

I am a Data Engineer Analyst at Toyota North America and a Master's student in Information Science and Technology at Missouri University of Science and Technology. I have a strong background in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Data Mining, with multiple certifications from Coursera. I am passionate about finding insights and solutions from complex and large-scale data sets using various tools and techniques. In my current role, I work with a team of data engineers and analysts to support the data-driven decision making and innovation of Toyota's products and services. I use Python, AWS S3, SQL Server, and Tableau to develop, manage, and visualize data pipelines and dashboards that deliver actionable insights to various stakeholders. Previously, I interned at Missouri S&T and Indian Institute of Technology, where I conducted in-depth analysis and exploration of student well-being and air pollution data, respectively. I contributed to the improvement of data quality, accuracy, and visualization by approximately 20%. I am eager to learn from and collaborate with other data professionals and apply my skills and knowledge to create positive social and environmental impact.
