About Jayla Granger
Hello! My name is Jayla Granger and I am a fourth-year student, studying Zoology with a concentration in Zoo and Aquarium Science, on the Pre-Vet track. Throughout my years of undergrad, I have been part of STEM-based communities such as, DOW STEM Scholars and Charles Drew Scholars. For DOW STEM Scholars, I have obtained the position as a Peer Mentor for the past 3 years, mentoring incoming freshmen on how to navigate life at MSU as a STEM major. I have also been part of a sorority at Michigan State University, Delta Phi Epsilon since 2020. I have held two chairwoman positions, Philanthropy, and Sisterhood Chairs, and I am currently obtaining the position of Secretary on our E-board. This summer, I am currently an intern at Potter Park Zoo, working in the Animal Care Unit! I am excited to work this position this summer, and continue to explore more opportunities in the Zoology field!
