In 2023, Jaylen was the recipient of the Nikema Williams Civic Leadership Award, designed to honor exceptional young leaders who have made significant contributions to the community in the state of Georgia. Jaylen was awarded alongside Ambassador Andrew Young, Rapper and Community Advocate 21 Savage, among others. Over the past seven years, Jaylen has had the unique opportunity to travel across the state of Georgia and South with state leadership to better understand communities all around her.
